1. Personal information we collect and use

In the course of your use of the entertainment services, we will collect, in the following ways, the information you voluntarily provide when using the services or that is generated by your use of the services, in order to provide and optimise our services and to safeguard the security of your account:

1.1 When you register for or use the entertainment services, we will collect your network identity information in order to mark you as our user. You may use a WeChat account (WeChat mini entertainment) or another account recognised by us (referred to below as a "third-party account") to register and link-login to any one of our entertainment products.

If you use a WeChat account (WeChat mini entertainment) and/or a third-party account as a linked login for your entertainment account, we will collect the unique identifier, nickname and avatar associated with the WeChat or third-party account you use, as well as your friend relationships or other information you have authorised, in order to help you complete registration and login and to deliver a better social experience. You can view and manage the above information authorisations on WeChat or the third-party platform. You may also choose, depending on the specific entertainment product, to fill in your gender, region and other details to complete your entertainment account profile.

1.2 In order to satisfy the requirements of relevant laws, regulations, policies and competent authorities, you shall provide true identity information for account registration and login. We will verify your true identity information through the WeChat platform real-name authentication system (Health System / anti-addiction system). To achieve the foregoing purpose, you agree that we may verify with that system the real-name authentication status of the WeChat account you currently use to register and log in; if that account has completed real-name authentication in the system, you further agree that the system may disclose age information to us, so as to confirm whether that account should be included in the anti-addiction system and which anti-addiction measures should be adopted. You also agree that we may, through that system, submit your name and identity card number to the national unified electronic identity authentication system for minors' online entertainment for true identity verification.

If that account has not completed real-name authentication in the system, we will be unable to provide services to you. If you still wish to use our products and services, you shall complete real-name authentication in that system for the WeChat account you currently use to register and log in; during real-name authentication, that system will collect your real-name identity information (including your name and identity card number).

At the same time, for the purpose of verifying authenticity, that system may, in accordance with its minor protection policies, from time to time require you to provide further personal information (including your mobile phone number, photographs or facial recognition information) either when you complete real-name authentication for the WeChat account you currently use to register and log in or while you use a real-name-authenticated WeChat account to log in to entertainment and use entertainment services, and may compare that information with your real-name information records in the system, real-name information records held by telecommunications operators, or data sources of the authoritative public security data platform. If you refuse to provide the foregoing information or fail the comparison, you may be unable to continue to use our products and services, or your use may be restricted. Verification data relating to facial recognition is used after encryption solely for comparison with data sources of the authoritative public security data platform, and we will not retain it.

1.3 When you use the entertainment services, we will collect your entertainment log information, such as login logs, item logs, operation information, entertainment match information and friend records, so that you can view your entertainment history on the client, and for customer complaint handling and other entertainment security analysis. To enhance your entertainment experience, we may synchronise the foregoing information to subsequent versions of that entertainment product.

1.4 In order to ensure that you can use our services normally, maintain the operation of the basic functions of the entertainment product, optimise product performance, enhance your entertainment experience and safeguard the security of your account, we will collect information such as your device name, device type, model and version, system version, IP address, device identifiers (such as IMEI, IMSI, MAC address and Android ID), application ID and network type.

1.5 When you use the purchase functions of the entertainment product, we will collect information such as your top-up records and purchase records, in order to provide the service and allow you to query your transaction records, and to protect the security of your virtual items to the greatest extent. Top-up records and purchase records are sensitive personal information; collecting such information is necessary to provide the purchase functions of the entertainment product, and the transaction cannot otherwise be completed.

1.6 In order to safeguard your entertainment environment and device security and to create a fair, healthy and safe entertainment environment, we will collect your device and entertainment identification information, such as device identifiers, hardware and operating system information, the list of installed applications, process and entertainment crash records, overall entertainment usage and the channel from which the entertainment product was obtained, in order to combat conduct that damages a fair entertainment environment or interferes with or disrupts the normal operation of the entertainment services (for example, to scan for cheats and prevent cheating). In particular, before you start an entertainment match, or where abnormal installation behaviour exists, we will scan the characteristic values of suspicious application installation packages you have installed via the application list, in order to detect cheats or cheating software. We will complete the above detection only locally on your device and will report only abnormal results; we will not store your application list or installation package information on our servers or use it for any other purpose.

1.7 When you interact with other users in the entertainment product by text, images, voice, video or other means, we may collect and store the above information you send, in order to filter out inappropriate content such as pornography, violence, political content, abuse and malicious advertising, thereby purifying the entertainment environment and maintaining a healthy online environment.

1.8 If you wish to interact with other entertainment users or take part in live streaming through images, voice or video, then, after you grant your consent, the entertainment product will access your photos or storage files, microphone and camera to provide you with functions such as screenshot saving, image uploading, voice chat and live interaction. If you refuse authorisation you will be unable to use the corresponding functions, but this will not affect your normal use of other functions of the entertainment product, and you may cancel the relevant permission authorisations at any time.

1.9 If you wish to interact with nearby entertainment users, then, after you consent to our use of the location permission, we will collect your geographic location information in order to find nearby entertainment users so that you can match and team up with nearby users. Geographic location information is sensitive personal information; refusing to provide it will only prevent you from interacting with nearby entertainment users and will not affect your normal use of other functions of the entertainment product, and you may cancel your geographic location information authorisation at any time.

1.10 If you choose to use functions such as photo-based character creation, we need you to provide and we need to use photographs containing your facial recognition features. We will inform you again of the relevant personal information collection and use rules when you use the relevant function and, after you grant your consent, obtain your photograph through your photo album or camera. You may also choose to refuse authorisation or refuse to use the relevant function; refusal will not affect your normal use of other functions of the entertainment product. Unless separately explained and with your consent, we will not retain your above photographs or use them for other purposes.

1.11 When you copy information within the product for sharing, or receive shared information within the product, we need to access your clipboard locally on the device in order to read the code, redemption code and other related information in it, so as to provide functions such as claiming rewards, participating in events and sharing. We will read only information related to our services in order to complete the relevant instructions, and will not store that information. We will not collect other unrelated information from your clipboard.

1.12 During entertainment tournament events, if you choose to subscribe to event reminders, we need to request calendar permission from you in order to set a reminder in your device calendar.

1.13 Where you voluntarily provide it, we may collect your mobile phone number in order to notify you of the results of activities you have taken part in, report entertainment faults, and provide feedback and communication on matters you have enquired about, or, with your consent, to send you information or promotional material you may be interested in.

1.14 If you contact our customer service, we may need you to provide the necessary personal information for identity verification, in order to ensure the security of your account. In order to provide services according to your request, and with your authorisation, our human customer service staff need to query or verify your relevant information within the scope of your authorisation; we will adopt technical and managerial measures as far as possible to safeguard the security and confidentiality of your information and will use it only within the necessary scope. We may also retain your contact details (the mobile phone number, WeChat ID or other contact details you use or voluntarily provide), our communication records and content with you, and other necessary information, in order to provide and record customer service for you.

1.15 We may analyse your entertainment data to understand your preferences, so that we can better show you content you may be interested in within the entertainment product. If a product or service involves the display of such content, you can manage the displayed content through the [Settings] of that product or service or as otherwise explained; for details, please see the in-product explanation.

1.16 We may collect your information through cookies, identifiers and related technologies in order to provide you with a better user experience and to safeguard service security. For how we use cookies and related technologies, and how you can manage our use of cookies and related technologies, please see the DoctorGame Cookie Policy.

1.19 Please understand that the functions and services we provide to you are constantly updated and developed. If a function or service is not covered by the foregoing explanation and collects your information, we will separately explain to you the content, scope and purpose of the information collection through page prompts, interaction flows, website announcements or other means, so as to obtain your consent.

1.20 At present, other than collecting entertainment survey information from third-party research institutions to help us improve the entertainment products and provide services suitable for you, and the circumstances expressly described in this Policy, we will not proactively obtain your personal information from third parties. If in the future we need to obtain and process your personal information indirectly from a third party for business development purposes, we will strictly comply with the provisions of relevant laws and regulations, require that third party to obtain your consent and ensure the lawfulness of the information it provides.

2. Sharing, transfer and public disclosure of personal information

2.1 Sharing of personal information

Other than in the circumstances provided for in this Policy and the DoctorGame License and Service Agreement, we will not proactively share your personal information with third parties without your consent. If there are other circumstances in which your personal information is shared, or where you need us to share your personal information with a third party for use beyond the original purpose of authorisation, we will obtain your express consent to the foregoing through that third party, directly or indirectly.

1) Protection of minors

In order to better protect the physical and mental health of minors and encourage minors to use the internet healthily, if a minor is suspected of making a purchase, we will attempt to contact their guardian and inform the guardian of the relevant purchase records and other information, for the purposes of reminder, confirmation and handling.

2) Agency products

If you use an entertainment product that we publish as an agent, we may share with the developer or relevant third party the logs and related information generated by you within the entertainment product (such as login logs), in order to carry out entertainment security analysis, improve the entertainment services and further optimise users' entertainment experience. Where we share the foregoing information, we will strictly comply with the relevant legal provisions and adopt corresponding compliance measures to ensure that the sharing of personal information complies with the corresponding legal provisions. The foregoing compliance measures include but are not limited to requiring the developer or relevant third party to strictly comply with the arrangements reached with you in this Policy when collecting and using your personal information, and urging the developer or relevant third party to adopt appropriate security technical and managerial measures to safeguard the security of your personal information.

When you use other products or services provided by us that are not entertainment (the "Affiliated Products"), with your express authorisation we will link the entertainment product account you have selected with the Affiliated Product, and share the nickname, avatar, match record or other information you have authorised associated with your corresponding entertainment product account with the Affiliated Product, in order to display it to you or other users within the Affiliated Product, so that you can take part in entertainment reward activities in the Affiliated Product and claim the corresponding rewards. You can view and manage your authorisation for entertainment history information on the [Settings] page of the Affiliated Product according to the prompts, or choose whether to display your entertainment history information to other users. Refusing authorisation will not affect your use of other functions of the entertainment product and the Affiliated Products.

We will carefully select third parties and third-party services, urge the relevant third parties to collect and use your personal information in accordance with this Policy or arrangements separately reached with you, and adopt appropriate security technical and managerial measures to safeguard the security of your personal information. For details of how products that provide advertising push share data with advertisers and other third parties, please see the advertising push section of that product's Third-Party Information Sharing List.

6) Statistical analysis and research

In order to improve our capabilities in security management and technological research, promote service security and technical standards, and thereby provide users with better services, we will, within a reasonable and necessary scope and on the premise of ensuring legitimate purposes and data security, share de-identified or anonymised data with research institutions, research institutes, universities and similar bodies. Without your express authorisation, we will not share with the above bodies information that can be used to identify you personally.

We may share de-identified device information or statistical information with advertising service providers or other partners, or, when you download/access this product through a third-party platform, share de-identified tag information with that platform, in order to analyse and optimise the effectiveness of pushes and/or to confirm the results of your participation in platform activities. The above information cannot be linked to your true identity, and we will require that it be used in strict compliance with relevant laws and regulations, so as to safeguard your lawful rights and interests.

2.2 Public disclosure of personal information

Except as otherwise provided in this Policy and the DoctorGame License and Service Agreement, we will not publicly disclose the personal information we collect. Where public disclosure is necessary, we will inform you of the purpose of that public disclosure, the types of information disclosed and any sensitive personal information that may be involved, and will obtain your express consent.

Please note that if you are dealt with in the course of using the entertainment product for breaching the DoctorGame License and Service Agreement or for any unlawful or non-compliant conduct, we may announce the outcome and disclose the relevant account information in the announcement.

2.3 Transfer of personal information

Without your authorisation, we will not transfer your personal information to a third party. As our business continues to develop, we may carry out transactions such as mergers, acquisitions and asset transfers. We will inform you of the relevant circumstances and will continue to protect your personal information in accordance with laws and regulations and at a standard no lower than that required by this Policy, or will require the new processor to continue to protect it.

3. Storage of personal information

3.1 How and for how long information is stored

We will store your information in a secure manner, including local storage (for example, using the APP for data caching), databases and server logs. In general, we will store your personal information only for the time necessary to achieve the purpose of the service or under the conditions provided by laws and regulations. After the foregoing period expires, we will delete or anonymise your personal information. We determine the storage period of personal information mainly by reference to the following criteria, whichever is longer:

1) completing the business function you have agreed to use;

2) ensuring the security and quality of the services we provide to you;

3) a longer retention period to which you have agreed;

4) whether there are other provisions on the retention period.

3.2 Where information is stored

We will, in accordance with the provisions of laws and regulations, store personal information of users collected within the territory in the territory of China.

3.3 Notice when a product or service ceases operation

If our product or service ceases operation, we will make public notice in accordance with the relevant laws and regulations and will protect your lawful rights and interests in accordance with the law.

4. Cross-border transfer of personal information

If the entertainment product you use is developed or provided by an overseas developer or related party (referred to below as the "Overseas Recipient") and is published, operated and represented domestically by us, then, in order to carry out entertainment security analysis and improve the entertainment services, we may provide the relevant personal information collected from you in accordance with this Policy to that Overseas Recipient. Before providing your personal information to the Overseas Recipient, we will obtain your separate consent in accordance with legal provisions and inform you of the detailed rules on the cross-border provision of personal information. You can also view the details of that product's rules on cross-border processing of personal information on the [Settings] page of the relevant product.

5. Information security

5.1 Security protection measures

We strive to safeguard the information security of users and to prevent information leakage, loss, improper use, unauthorised access and disclosure. We use multi-dimensional security protection measures to ensure that the protection of users' personal information is maintained at a reasonable level of security, including technical protection methods, management system controls and security system safeguards. In addition, our relevant systems have passed the filing and assessment requirements of the national Multi-Level Protection Scheme for Cybersecurity (Level 3).

We adopt industry-leading technical protection measures. The technical means we use include but are not limited to firewalls, encryption (such as SSL), de-identification or anonymisation, and access control measures. In addition, we will continuously strengthen the security capabilities of the software installed on your device. For example, we will carry out certain information encryption work locally on your device to consolidate secure transmission, and we will learn about the applications installed on your device and the processes running on it in order to prevent malicious programs such as viruses and trojans.

We have established dedicated management systems, processes and organisational structures to safeguard personal information security. For example, we strictly limit the scope of personnel who may access information, require them to observe confidentiality obligations and undergo audits, and personnel who breach those obligations will be penalised in accordance with the rules. We also review those management systems, processes and organisational structures to prevent unauthorised persons from accessing, using or disclosing users' information without authorisation.

We recommend that you pay full attention to the protection of your personal information when using our products and services. We also provide a variety of security features to help you protect the security of your personal information.

5.2 Measures for handling security incidents

If a security incident such as a personal information leak occurs, we will activate our emergency response plan to prevent the incident from escalating. After a security incident occurs, we will inform you, by announcement, push notification or email, of the basic circumstances of the incident, the handling measures we are about to take or have taken and the remedial measures, and our recommendations for how you should respond. If it is difficult to notify you individually, we will issue a warning by announcement or other means.

6. Your rights

During your use of the entertainment services, we may, depending on the specific circumstances of the entertainment product, provide you with corresponding settings so that you can query, copy, correct, supplement, delete or withdraw your relevant personal information; you may refer to the specific guidance for the relevant entertainment product. In addition, we have set up complaint and reporting channels, and your comments will be handled promptly.

6.1 Querying the rules on the collection and use of personal information

You can view the rules on the collection and use of personal information for each product at any time on the [Settings] page of that product, including but not limited to this Policy, the Third-Party Information Sharing List, and the rules and authorisation status for sensitive permissions of that product.

Please be aware and understand that the services described in this Policy and the corresponding collection and use of personal information may differ depending on the specific services you choose to use and factors such as the device model and system version you use.

6.2 Querying and correcting personal information

1) You can query and access, within the product you use, your basic account information (account avatar, nickname and other personal information you have chosen to provide) and entertainment history information (such as character level, achievements and match records, as well as entertainment information specific to each product).

2) You can query, through the WeChat platform real-name authentication system (Health System), the real-name information (name and identity card number) corresponding to the WeChat account you use to log in to the entertainment product. If you find that the queried real-name information is incorrect, you may apply to modify the authentication within that system. Please note, however, that in order to ensure account stability and security and to prevent the unlawful misappropriation and transfer of accounts, the frequency of real-name authentication modifications will be limited; for the specific rules, please see the explanation on that system's pages.

3) Within each product, you can query more information about your use of a specific product and service according to the prompts and the actual circumstances of the product; for details, please see the explanation on the [Settings] page of each product.

4) If you have other requests regarding querying, copying, correcting or supplementing personal information, you may also contact us using the contact details set out in Article 10 of this Policy. Please note, however, that when you contact us to make a request in exercise of your personal information rights, in order to safeguard account and personal information security we may verify your identity and the security status of your account. We will support your reasonable requests as far as possible. However, where a request goes beyond the scope of our personal information storage, exceeds a reasonable limit, or where responding to your request would seriously harm your or another third party's lawful rights and interests, we may be unable to respond to your request.

6.3 Display and sharing of personal information

1) Your basic entertainment account information (avatar, nickname and character level) will be displayed on your personal profile page, in rankings you take part in, or in related functions.

2) Your entertainment history information (including but not limited to your login status, match information/status and achievement information) will be displayed to you, to other users or to friends according to your choices. The entertainment product will provide you with relevant permissions as appropriate, so that you can configure whether to publicly display the foregoing information; for details, please see the explanation within each product.

3) Information you upload or publish yourself within the product, or information you proactively share externally, will be displayed to users within the scope you have chosen for publication or sharing.

4) Once you authorise a third party to obtain your information within the product, that third party will disclose your relevant information to you or to other users of that third party within the scope of your authorisation. For the specific display rules and how to configure the scope of disclosure, please refer to the rules of that third-party platform.

6.4 Changing your authorisation for the collection and use of personal information

You can change the scope of your authorisation for our collection and use of your personal information by deleting information, turning specific product functions off or on, or turning off or on the device permissions obtained by a specific product (the specific permissions differ depending on the device model and system version used by the user).

After withdrawing your authorisation, you may be unable to use the product functions corresponding to that authorisation, but this will not affect the use of other functions. Your withdrawal of authorisation does not affect the validity of personal information processing activities already carried out on the basis of your authorisation before the withdrawal.

Some personal information collection and use corresponds to the basic functions of our services. If you wish to withdraw the relevant authorisation for the collection and use of personal information, this may result in our being unable to provide services to you. In that case, if you still wish to withdraw the relevant authorisation, you can achieve this by applying to deregister your account. For example, because the use of the entertainment services requires real-name authentication under laws and regulations, if you wish to withdraw your authorisation for our collection of real-name authentication information and require us to delete your real-name authentication information, we may be unable to continue to provide you with the basic services of the entertainment product.

6.5 Account deregistration

You can apply for account deregistration under [Settings] - [Account Deregistration] in the product or through a channel separately notified within the product. When you apply for account deregistration, we will verify your identity, the security status of your account and the conditions for deregistration; for details, please read carefully the explanation in the product's deregistration process and the Entertainment Account Deregistration Agreement. After the entertainment account deregistration is completed, unless otherwise provided by laws and regulations or this Agreement, your personal information under that entertainment account will be deleted or anonymised, and the related products and services previously linked to that entertainment account will no longer be linked. Once the entertainment account deregistration is completed, it cannot be restored, so please proceed with caution.

7. Changes

We may revise this Policy from time to time. When the rules on the collection and use of personal information described in this Policy and other matters provided for by laws and regulations change, we will prompt you about the revised Policy in an appropriate manner when the version is updated. Please read the revised privacy policy or its content carefully; your continued use of the entertainment product indicates that you agree that we may collect, process or use your personal information in accordance with the updated privacy policy.

8. Protection of minors

We attach great importance to the protection of minors' personal information and continue to explore better ways of protecting it.

If you are the legal guardian of a minor, please pay attention to whether the minor under your guardianship uses the entertainment services or provides their personal information only after obtaining your authorisation and consent. If you have any questions about the personal information of the minor under your guardianship, please contact us using the contact details in Article 10.

In particular, if you are a child under 14 years old, we have also published the DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy in order to protect children's personal information. Children and their guardians should also read the DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy carefully before using the entertainment services. You may use the entertainment services only after obtaining the guardian's consent to both this Policy and the DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy.

We will actively comply with national anti-addiction policy requirements and protect the lawful rights and interests of minors by enabling the anti-addiction system. We will use the WeChat platform real-name authentication system (Health System / anti-addiction system) to verify real-name identity and other information and to determine whether the real-name information of the relevant account belongs to a minor, and will accordingly decide whether to include that account in the anti-addiction system. In addition, we will collect information such as your login time and entertainment duration and, by automatically intervening at the system level to restrict minors' entertainment time and enabling a forced offline function, guide minors to engage in entertainment reasonably; if a minor is suspected of making a purchase, we will attempt to contact their guardian for reminder, confirmation and handling, helping minors to use the internet healthily.

In order to better protect the physical and mental health of minors and encourage minors to use the internet healthily, we may implement stricter anti-addiction measures on top of the national policies and provisions on anti-addiction for online entertainment. We also continuously research and test various new technologies for protecting minors. In order to further improve the accuracy of real-name authentication and to the greatest extent prevent minors from using another person's identity information, the WeChat platform real-name authentication system (Health System / anti-addiction system) may, in some entertainment products and for some users (subject to the specific entertainment policy), enable facial recognition verification of identity in specific scenarios (such as when you log in to the entertainment product, or during entertainment including when you make entertainment top-ups, purchases or transactions). When facial recognition is enabled, that system will verify the WeChat account you are currently logged in to and using and collect your true identity information for identity verification. When the facial recognition function is enabled, that system will request, through the WeChat platform, access to your device's camera permission in order to complete facial recognition.

The above facial recognition verification mainly compares the user's true facial information with data sources of the authoritative public security data platform. If the comparison results match, the verification is passed successfully and the corresponding entertainment time limit is matched according to the user's actual age group. If the comparison results do not match, or the user refuses verification, we will uniformly treat the user as a minor aged 12 or under and include them in the corresponding anti-addiction supervision. Verification data relating to facial recognition is used after encryption solely for comparison with the authoritative public security data platform, and we will not retain it.

In addition, we may also collect, through that system, entertainment behaviour data generated by you in the course of entertainment (such as data on click pressure and radius, relative click position, direction of acceleration and direction of gravity formed when you operate the entertainment product on your terminal device, as well as voice data generated when you interact with other users through online voice and other means within the entertainment product) in order to build an algorithmic model and make a preliminary determination based on your real-time behaviour as to whether you are a minor (as regards voice data, the system merely determines randomly from part of your online voice whether it is a child's voice or an adult's voice). If the preliminary determination shows that your behavioural characteristics do not match the age indicated by your real-name information, that system may, in accordance with the foregoing provisions, enable facial recognition for verification. We will collect and use this information only for the purpose of preventing addiction among minors.

We have also established a Parental Guardian Platform. The Parental Guardian Platform can help parents or guardians learn about their child's entertainment situation at any time, set spending limits and daily entertainment hours and periods, and assist the parents or guardians of minors in protecting minors from the harm of undesirable entertainment habits. You can click here to learn more about our anti-addiction system and the Parental Guardian Platform. We have also established a proactive service platform for minors: if a minor is suspected of making a purchase, we attempt to contact their guardian for reminder, confirmation and handling. You can contact us at [email protected].

9. Miscellaneous

The DoctorGame Privacy Policy is a general privacy clause of uniform application to the entertainment products. Its provisions, including but not limited to users' rights and information security safeguards, apply to all users of the entertainment products. Some entertainment products have their own separate privacy policies that further explain in detail the collection and use of personal information for that specific product. If this Policy is inconsistent with or contradicts the separate privacy policy of an entertainment product, the privacy policy separately configured for that product and displayed within the product shall prevail.

The DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy is a rule on the protection of personal information applicable to child users under 14 years old. Within the scope of application of the DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy, if it is inconsistent with or contradicts this Policy or the separate privacy policy configured for a product (if any), the DoctorGame Children's Privacy Policy shall prevail.
